为什么连不上网络？Solaris 8 For x86

Solaris 8 for Intel X86\r\n我用ifconfig -a,得到如下信息\r\nlo0:\r\nspwr0: inet 192.168.1.2 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255 ether 0:e0:29:22:f:fd\r\n\r\n/etc/hosts\r\n127.0.0.1 localhost\r\n192.168.1.2 col loghost\r\n\r\n/etc/hostname.spwr0\r\ncol\r\n\r\n/etc/hosts.spwr0\r\n127.0.0.1 localhost\r\n192.168.1.2 col loghost\r\n\r\n/etc/netmasks\r\n192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0\r\n\r\n运行netstat -r得到如下信息\r\n192.168.1.0     col     U     1   40    spwr0\r\n224.0.0.0        col     U     1   0    spwr0\r\nlocalhost       localhost  UH 25   23432  lo0\r\n\r\n为什么我ping不通192.168.1.1？\r\n192.168.1.1是一台windows 2000机器，netmask为255.255.255.0\r\n

is cable connected correctly?\r\n\r\nare you using one crossover cable or two straight cables to a hub?\r\n\r\nif you have a hub, and somehow you have another machine, or can borrow another machine from someone, i would suggest you plug another machine into the hub, and set it to 192.168.1.3/ffffff00, and see if you can ping it from win box or solaris box.\r\n\r\nright now, you have only two boxes, so it\'s hard to say which one is not set up correctly.  by introducing another box, you can narrow down the problem.  if you set up another box (win box will probably be easier in your case), and it can ping 192.168.1.1, then it means something not right with solaris box.  if it cannot ping, then it\'s definitely problem with hub/cable.\r\nsome hub have uplink port, or have a switch.  make sure you check it out.  it sounds to me like a physcial layer issue.

I use two straight calbles to a switch.\r\nI tried another windows machine, and set it to 192.168.1.3/ffffff00. I can ping 192.168.1.1 from .3, but I cann\'t ping 192.168.1.2.\r\nIf I change Solaris IP to 192.168.1.1, Windows 2000 willl pop up a \"conflicting IP\" message. \r\nI use IPv4.

try to run the following comand under root on your Solaris X86:\r\n# truss -o /var/tmp/truss.out ping 192.168.1.2\r\n\r\nAfter 5 seconds, try ctrl^C to interrupt the truss and then post your truss.out here. Or you can exam the contents of truss.out youself using vi to see if you can find any thing.\r\n\r\nTo me, this sounds more like hardware(either the NIC or Cable or switch port ) problem.\r\n\r\nGood luck.

如果你的ifconfig -a 结果如你所写的话，你的结果中缺少up，也就是说你的端口没有up\r\nifconfig spwr0 up
