AFTER BACKUP FOR A LONG TIME .

Hi :
     If finishing backup , and after a long time
     the backup image is still in my harddisk
     but it is not necessary , coz I backup them
     in CDROM , how to delete them ?
     just select the file and then press the delete key ?
     or DB2 provide any command to prune the backup image file?
     Thanks !

     AS THE LOGFILES , I know there is a command PRUNE
     it can delete unnecessary logfiles.

直接删除就可以了，在win下用del命令或用资源管理器删除，在unix下用rm删除！

备份文件的删除与否取决于将来恢复。只要保存好了一份，在本机的那个文件就可以删除了，log的删除要看后续的备份方案。否则在依靠日志恢复的时候就会有问题。
