perl-cgi执行系统命令，如何知道该命令是否正确执行。

我写了perl的脚本程序测试system（cmd）的运行结果，
并且想知道该cmd是否正确执行，我用 $ret = system($cmd)捕获，
但是只能得到该命令运行与否，无法捕获运行是否成功。
   请高手指点迷津，谢谢！！

For Unix like system,
I usally use
$rc = system("ls -al 1>;/tmp/1.log 2>;&1";

and
if $rc  == 0 , it means the command is executing
correctly,
if $rc !=0 , it means there is some error happen..
you can check the /tmp/1.log to get the information...

For windows..sorry, I don't know..

I found that  I had missed the 2>;&1 of the command,
so I cannot capture the error information.
