Question of AIX RS/6000 cleanup

\r\nI have a AIX RS/6000 server which has a Logical Volumn is nearly 100% full. The mount point is /var and the lv is /dev/hd9var\r\n\r\nWhat I think is maybe there are too much log files there. But I don\'t know which files can be deleted to free up space.\r\n\r\nThanks.

I had clean out the /var/adm/wtmp file . It only free up 40K. Still not enough.\r\nIs there somebody have better idea ?

I figure it out that the file /var/tmp/dpid2.log is keep on growing. But I don\'t know how to shrink it.

Sometimes dpid daemon keeps generating error messages, I had met that, and assumed it\'s because of false PTF installed, but no way to test - the customer business is uninterruptable - then I kill it and remove relevant entry in /etc/inittab.
