今天修改root用户密码时报如下错误，请高手指点\r\npmsdb1@root[/]passwd root\r\nChanging password for \"root\"\r\nroot\'s New password: \r\n        a minimum of 1 elapsed week between changes.\r\n3004-320 Only the system administrator can change this password.

One thing I do sometimes, when adding a new user, is after setting the \r\ninitial password from root, I remove the ADMCHG flag for that user from \r\n/etc/security/passwd. This allows the user to keep the initial password \r\nuntil he or she feels comfortable with changing it. The slight security \r\nrisk is worth the reduced hassle when a new user is not comfortable \r\nwith logging in, and then picking a new password right away.
