A digital watermark is a signal added to digital data such that it could be\r\nused (1) to identify source of the data or uniquely establish ownership, (2) to\r\nidentify its intended recipient, and (3) to check if the data has been tampered\r\nwith. Within each class of applications, there could be variations on the requirement\r\nof the watermarking scheme[1]. Therefore, digital watermarks have been\r\nproposed as the means for copyright protection of multimedia data on network\r\nbased digital image distribution structure. However, there are some problems in\r\nexisting digital watermarking mechanism as the rightful ownerships cannot be\r\nresolved by current watermarking schemes alone. Specially, some one can provide\r\ncounterfeited watermark which can be performed on a watermarked image\r\nto allow multiple claims of rightful ownerships[2]. |
