关于symantec的OST技术

想了解一下，现在很多的设备都要求支持OST的接口，从官网上看OST是这样的
OpenStorage API separates backup business logic from storage device implementation
OpenStorage supports any connectivity, any protocol (FC, TCP/IP, combination), and any file system format

这样看，OST不但支持IP协议，还支持FC，那是不是说，具有OST接口的设备，可以通过FC把空间共享给更多的media server或者是SAN CLIENT，从而通过lanfree的备份方式将数据备份到共享的磁盘空间里。

目前发布版本没有支持FC OST。

看硬件兼容列表

硬件的兼容性列表里会体现出支持什么协议吗，这个到没仔细看，回头找找看。

只是会看到一些厂家的产品，可是这些产品IP和FC的接口都有就是了。

好像现在能走FC的OST设备只有Symantec自家的NBU5000（也就是puredisk一体机）吧
