Responsibilities:
•        Being a key member in global Advanced Computing Service (ACS) team to support and be responsible for defined system administration activities on Linux Servers/workstations, ESX, HPC.
•        Design configuration and administration in support of on-going global and local projects.
•        Follow global configuration management process to manage Linux servers/workstations, ESX, HPC systems.
•        Be aligning with global change management process to execute change activities.
•        Implementation and post-installation responsibilities include technical consulting to user community and providing solutions to software problems.
•        Play as a team member to support users globally to define operational requirements, troubleshooting and migration to new versions.
•        Provide technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements: perform feasibility and performance studies, including benchmark, capacity planning, sizing, etc.
•        Prepare and present technical product information to user community.
•        Support and improve system environment and services (sizing).
•        Write all related documentation (Validation docs, systems proposals/recommendation, etc).
•        Plan / Control / Conduct the server lifecycle and deliver valuable contribution towards the budget planning.
•        Be deeply involved into the hardware/software procurement process in the responsible area by good interaction with related internal departments.


Qualifications:
•        5 years of experience in Linux administration in a global enterprise environment.
•        3 years of experience with Virtual environment (ESX and/or HyperV)
•        1~2 years of experience in High Performance Computing Cluster management (e.g. ROCKS) and Job Scheduler (e.g. SGE)
•        Experience on Windows server, AD administration and Oracle are desired.
•        Scientific background and being able to support Chem-informatics or Bio-informatics applications are desired.
•        Basic knowledge of Project Management methodology and computer system validation or GxP.
•        Fluent in English (spoken and written) & good communication skills.
•        Good team player in a global & matrix organization.
•        Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL), as acquired through certification and/or previous work experience.
