Looking for System Operations Engineers responsible for
operating and managing our cloud-based web services and web applications.
System Engineers are more about operations and administration, and having some programming background would be very helpful.
Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor and manage large scale web systems that include tens of servers to thousands of servers distributed at many global locations
Set up and manage testing/staging environments
Roll out new services to production environment
Corporate IT support involving standard ticket based tasks as well as corporate network and desktop deployment and maintenance.
Automate all administration/operations via using Scripting(shell, ruby) and open source solution etc
Requirements:
Previous hands on experience testing and deploying large scale server software Hands on experience in network operations and administration.
Strong scripting/programming skills. Fluent in at least one of these scripting languages: Shell script/Ruby.
Troubleshooting. Strong experience in problem analyzing and solving
Hands on experience in managing large scale web sites
Understanding DNS, HTTP and Load Balancer protocols.
Familiarity with Cloud APIs such as Amazon EC2 command-line tools.
Expert knowledge of popular testing tools and methods such as JUnit, JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
Expert knowledge of unit testing, load testing and automated testing |
