1.        Job Title：Senior Engineer, Application

Job Description:
Marvell PMIC and audio support team is looking for a staff application engineer based in Shanghai office to support our internal and external customers in the China region in the integration of our products into mobile platforms. Daily interaction with Marvell design teams is expected, under the supervision of Marvell Italy PMIC/audio design application team. The candidate should be creative, motivated, resourceful and with good communication skills.

Responsabilities include :
• Support the Chinese Marvell SW, HW and platform development teams in the integration of Marvell PMICs and codecs
• Support Chinese customers using Marvell PMICs and codecs
• Collect information from internal and external Chinese customers to improve the features and quality of our PMIC and audio codec product lines
• Support design and application teams in failure analysis and customer scenario debugging
• Review schematics and layout for customer’s products
• Contribute to the PCB board development effort and lab automation for standalone PMIC/codec chip evaluation
• Contribute to the generation of test reports, application guidelines, errata/technical reports
Become the local reference in two or more of the following areas of expertise (power management, battery charging, battery fuel gauging, audio SW/HW tuning)

Required skills/experience:
• Knowledge of common lab equipment and debugging techniques
• Bachelor degree
• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Experience in customer support and communication
• 5+ years experience in one or more of the following areas (design and/or support): LDOs, switching regulators, mobile platforms, Battery charging, battery fuel gauging, audio digital processing, audio analog processing
• PCB board schematic entry and layout experience using stat of the art tools (Allegro, Orcad or similar)
• Availability to travel to support Chines or Asian customers on site.
• Availability to travel to Italy and US

Desirable skills:
• Previous experience as PMIC or audio codec application or field application engineering
• Team leading experience

2.        Job Title: Senior Camera Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai/Nanjing
Department: APSE

Job Description:
In this position, you will be involved in the Camera related software development for Tablet platform. Responsibilities include Camera driver/middleware/application development, performance optimization and system integration, etc.

Qualification:
- 3 years+ camera related development/support experience.
- Familiar with camera sensor, ISP knowledge.
- Solid experience on Windows mobile and/or Android platform driver development.
- Strong in C and/or C++ coding expertise.
- Solid communications skills, Good team work spirit.
- Camera sub-system architecture knowledge, middleware and application development experiences on Windows and/or Android.
- Good knowledge base in Image Processing, e.g. Auto White-Balance, Auto Exposure, Auto Focus, Digital Image Stabilization and Face Detection/Recognition, etc.


3.        Job Title: 2D/3D Graphics Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai/ Nanjing
Department: APSE

Description:
The position is for software engineer for the embedded 2D/3D graphics engine development at Marvell Shanghai Site. Marvell is developing new generation of XScale processors with hardware 3D/2D GPU featured. He/she will be responsible to work with partners to make these Marvell XScale platforms to achieve the most compelling 3D/2D performance for all mainstream embedded OSes and 3D/2D usage models.

qualifications:
- Excellent algorithm background on 2D or 3D graphics area, such as computer graphics, image processing, 3D reconstruction, etc.
- Excellent project experience on 3D/2D chipsets, either development or validation.
- Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
- Excellent understanding of the embedded system architecture, familiar with the embedded OS, such as WinCE/WinMobile, Linux.
- Experience of OpenGL, OpenGL* ES, OpenVG, D3DM, GDI is a plus.
- Experience of Linux EXA/XAA is a plus.
- Experienced in software optimization, performance tuning, graphics theory and algorithm is a plus
- Flash and SVG experience is a plus
- Image processing experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Chinese;

4.        SW Engineer for Embedded Multimedia Development
Department: APSE
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
APSE is looking for qualified software engineers for embedded multimedia solution development. The goal is to develop and/or integrate a set of multimedia technologies, including but not limited to video SW/HW encoder/decoder, multimedia framework, multimedia application etc. onto Marvell® embedded platform as a complete mobile device.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate should have Master or PhD degree in the discipline of computer science, electronic engineering or related fields. Have 2+ years of industrial multimedia/video experience, strong programming and debugging skills and experience in embedded systems. Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, and the ability to work in a team environment.

You need co-work with other members to develop multimedia solution on Marvell mobile platform, include developing video encoder/decoder, middleware component, integrating into android system, enhancing multimedia feature, improving system to get much better user experience and solving customer issues.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience programming in C/C++
- 2+ years of multimedia development experience on embedded OS
-Solid multimedia technology knowledge, such as video/audio codec, media container formats, media streaming etc.
- Experience for OpenMax/Gstreamer or other multimedia framework
- Experience for Android native layer multimedia framework
- Strong communications capability
- Experience for HW video codec, will be a plus
- Be familiar with H264/H263/MPEG4/MPEG2/H265 standard, will be a plus
- Experience for streaming protocol or usage, like TCP/IP, RTSP, HTTP live, CMMB, VoIP, will be a plus
- Be familiar with GPU will be a plus


5.        SW Validation Engineer for Embedded Multimedia
Department: APSE
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
APSE is looking for qualified software validation engineers for embedded multimedia solution. The goal is to ensure Marvell multimedia solution high quality and excellent user experience.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate should have Master degree in the discipline of computer science, electronic engineering or other related fields, Have 2+ years of industrial multimedia/video validation or development experience, and experience in embedded systems. Also requires strong communication skills, self motivation, and the ability to work in a team environment.

You need co-work with developers to define multimedia test plan, method, criteria, and analyze test result, develop and improve auto test system, investigate multimedia solution and quality on 3rd production. Your duty is to ensure Marvell multimedia solution is solid and could meet customer’s request.

Requirements:
-Strong software background, including experience on embedded OS
-2+ years of multimedia validation/development experience on embedded OS
-Solid multimedia technology knowledge, such as video/audio codec, media container formats, media streaming etc.
- Strong testing and debugging skills in C and/or C++
- Be familiar with script language, like perl, python
- Be familiar with some bug tracking system like CQ, JIRA
- Strong communications capability
- Technical and problem solving skills to define and execute tasks independently
- Experience for android multimedia framework will be a plus
- Experience for streaming usage, like RTSP/HTTP/VoIP/CMMB, will be a plus
- Enough interests for new multimedia technology


6.        Job Title: Senior Android Security Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Department: APSE

Job Description:
In this position, you will be working with team to build up the system level security solution for android platform, and deliver to customer for their final product.

Responsibilities
1) Participate architecture design for the android system security solution
2) Finish feature development standalone, including requirement analysis, design, coding and unit test
3) Study and collect user requirement from various channel, define product
4) Research Android vulnerability

Qualifications:
1) Master in EE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 2+ year relevant Android framework/Linux kernel is required
3) Fluent in English (read and write) is required
4) Knowledge of SE Linux is plus
5) Knowledge of OO design is plus
