The Senior Manager, QA, is responsible for managing a team of experienced QA engineers building mobilesoftware. The Manager will also assume project and product delivery responsibilities. This position will report to the VP, Software Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:
•        Manage a team of 15QA engineers with two first line managers;
•        Manage multiple, concurrent product QA activities from test plan design, test case executionto level-of-effort scoping of QA effort, task assignments, resource allocation.
•        Coordinate with cross-functional teams including, Product Management, development, and Release Engineering, to resolve project dependencies and achieve project objectives.
•        Coordinate the resolution of product defects reported by customers by working with the Customer Support and Account Management teams.
•        Lead the recruiting of top-notch talent into the team and facilitate the growth of the Engineering organization.

Qualifications & Skills:
•        5+ years of software QA management experience with 8+ years of overall software engineering experience,
•        Very high technical competence, track record of individual technical accomplishments;
•        Strong project & people management skills and experience; Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple, concurrent and complex engineering projects;
•        Proven ability to manage personnel issues and conflicts, mentor team members at various professional levels, and inspire team by personal example;
•        Deep knowledge/experience with mobile platforms including Android or IOS platform
•        Experience with mobile device battery testing, better to be a Linux guru
•        Extensive knowledge/experience on IP/TCP and networking protocols and/or cloud/big-data technologies
•        Commitment to excellence and drive to achieve the highest quality standards personally and for the team. Demonstrates expertise in problem solving and technical innovation.
•        Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English. Communicates effectively across organizational boundaries and demonstrates initiative to build relationships across teams.
•        Multi-national company working experience highly desirable
•        BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields is required. MS/PHD degree preferred.
