Job Title 1：
Embedded Software Developer

Responsibilities:

    Design and develop new features for SonicWALL’s Internet security products and solutions
    Write design and test documents,
    Work with the QA team to resolve software bugs
    Support other teams to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

    BS or MS, in CS, EE or related field
    Hands on experience on RTOS, such as VxWorks or Linux.
    Deep understanding of TCP/IP and knowledgeable in IPSec, OSPF, RIP, VLAN, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP,HTTPS and/or similar networking protocols and concepts
    Good rogramming skills in C
    Good understanding of the challenges of network security
    Fluent in English




Job Title 2:
Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

    Design and develop SonicWALL’s license management backend
    Write design and test documents
    Work with the QA team to resolve software bugs
    Support other teams to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

    Fluent in English
    BS or MS, in CS, EE or related field
    2+ years of programming experience with Java, Knowledge of Java EE 5 needed, Java EE 6 better
    Knowledge of JPA, JSF, PrimeFaces or RichFaces, CDI are useful
    Working knowledge of SQL and relational modeling, MySQL preferred, any DB good
    Understanding of the programming paradigms (interpreted vs compiled, procedural vs OO, single vs multiple inheritance, multithreading)
    Bonus: knowledge of Tomcat or Glassfish , shell, XML, servlet, JSP, logging (Log4J/SLF4J/Logback), HTML, CSS, design patterns, UML, unit test, IDE (Eclipse, Netbeans)

Support Diagnostic Tools Engineer

This is a position in the Security Business Unit in the Dell Software Group.  As a Support Diagnostic Tool developer/engineer, you will be part of the newly formed “Innovation” group to focus on the following exciting and impactful functions:
The primary function is to design, develop, test, deliver, and support diagnostic, analytic, and migration tools that are deemed strategic and effective in 1) shortening the troubleshooting time in supporting Dell’s Security products, 2) shielding technology complexity from the way security products are configured, 3) enabling predictive and proactive support and new professional services.   The tools are both external tools and internal to Security products.  
The secondary function is to develop and manage a global Lab available for all in the Security Escalation Group.  
Lastly, you will also utilize your product knowledge and tools development skills and work with Escalation engineers to replicate customer issues.  
You will be working under the guidance of the thought leaders in the Security Business Unit for project directions and working closely with Engineering, Technical Escalation, Product Marketing, and Technical Support.

Responsibilities
Own designing, developing, testing, delivering, and supporting diagnostic, analytic, and migration tools for Security products
Own designing, developing, testing, and building out a global Lab available for Security Escalation Group
Replication of customer issues
Own other innovations as needed to enable case support deflection, shorten troubleshooting time, and proactive support
Other responsibilities as need arises
 
Requirements
Expert level in web-based tools development, including programming skills in Perl, Python, Java, and etc. and the required development tools
Expert level in programming and troubleshooting in C for embedded real-time operating systems and the required development tools
Experienced in writing effective design specifications  
Hands-on experience with networking technology and protocols
Experienced in hands-on in designing, and building large scale laboratory
Effective in project management, prioritization, and timeline management skills
Expert leadership and team/consensus building skills.
Write and speak in English effectively

Preferences
BS degree or equivalent.
8+ years of direct work experience in fast-pace, dynamic, Technical Support or Professional Services organizations
4+ years of direct experience with network security related products
