EMC DPAD Mozy seeks a Software QA Manager to make things work.

Experience with system development life cycle (SDLC), extensive knowledge and work experience of test engineering methodologies are required. Must able to demonstrate direction setting and thought leadership in the QA testing space.
Manage the Mozy Shanghai QA organization. Supervise a big team of QE engineers and fulfill the major HR duties and roles such as preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities, etc.
Work closely with upper management and US based managers to set accurate schedules, costs & resources; ensure high QA related deliveries against QA organization goals and objectives defined by upper management; meet commitments and coordinate cross-geo and multiple functional teams’ overall quality assurance activities;
Participate in definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, which include tools, frameworks, processes, and methodologies, addressing all phases of product development.
Implement ongoing quality improvement processes via working closely with upper management, US managers and teams.
Critical Hiring Criteria
BS or MS in computer Science or equiv. areas.

Strong Mentoring/Coaching skills; Ability to lead, motivate and direct a highly talented and motivated QA workgroup
Deep and solid QA domain experience and knowledge including QA related processes, tools, frameworks, automation, etc.; Proficiency in SDLC (software development life cycle).

*        6+ years’ experience in testing software, preferably in a cross platform environment (Windows, OSX, Linux) and application level

Primary Responsibilities:
·         Plan and execute white box and gray testing using defined methodologies for manual and/or automated tests
·         Write test plans and test cases based on requirements and technical specifications

·         Write tests in Ruby in a OS X or Windows environment
·         Maintain tests and code in source control

Summary of the Position:

As a Performance engineer, you will be looking at all aspects of performance from a holistic angle and provide analysis and recommendations with performance and scalability in mind. The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Define performance plans; perform performance, scalability, stress and longevity test.
