Job Title:  Android Camera Engineer                  
Years of Experience Required: 3+ years comprehensive experience on mobile development.
Education Level Preferred: Bachelor degree or above in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent.

PURPOSE OF JOB:  
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
Dedicated to the android-based camera HAL/driver development & maintenance.

TOP FIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:           
        % of Time Spent        List the five major responsibilities (over 10% of the incumbent’s time).  If this is a re-evaluation, provide key changes to the job.
1.        30        New feature development on camera HAL/driver layers.
2.        30        Camera maintenance, bug-fixing on camera HAL/driver layers.
3.        15        Bring-up camera HAL/driver layers during Google cookie upgrade.
4.        15        New idea prototyping. When a good idea is available and need assistance from camera HAL/driver layers, the candidate shall be eligible for preparing prototyping for it.
5.        10        Line activities: Invention Disclosure, mentoring, etc.
        

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:            
        List the Functional Competencies required for performing this job and link to PM Tool.
1.        Camera HAL/driver development experience is mandatory.
Android application development experience is preferred.
2.        Proficiency in C and C++ language is mandatory.  
Java experience is preferred.
3.        Capability of English writing and reading.
Good communication & collaboration skills.
Other        Easy-going personality.
Good professionalism.
