Senior Software Engineer-Big Data-PayPal Shanghai
Responsibility:
Design and develop novel data driven solutions that have potential to deliver game changing results.
Research data analysis methodologies and tools. Innovatefor computer system solutions to meet data analysis requirements.
Design and implement solutions, in fast iterations from prototype to production release to large scales.
Analyze data that flows in the solutions as it is keypart of the solutions.
Keep acquiring knowledge from business, to build insightsand apply solutions.
Incorporate business feedbacks to solutions. Stick ideasto business needs.
Job Requirements:
o Bachelor’sdegree and 3+ years of industrial experience or post-college academic experience, in computer science/engineering.
o Good programming capabilities in Java and at least one scripting language.
o Experiences inopen source systems and tools including Linux, Git, Hadoop, etc.
o Experiences indata analysis, big data processing, and machine learning – a significant advantage. o Experiences indesign tools and solutions for data analysis and visualization – an advantage.
o Experiences infinancial services, payment systems, and risk management – an advantage.
o Innovative,passionate, and team working. Start-up spirited!
o Goodcommunication skills in English.
Basic Qualifications:
