SAP Basis Administrator
Location: Shenzhen
Vacancy: 1
Responsibilities:
· Participate in the installation of new SAP systems to meet expanding business requirements. This includes translating requirements to hardware requirements and developing a time-line for the installation of hardware and software, and configuring the systems.
· Participate in the daily monitoring of all the SAP systems, and assists in development of procedures and policies for the efficient operations of the SAP systems.
· Participate in global follow-the-sun on call rotation support.
· Provide support for projects of other regions like US and EMEA regions, at times on flexible schedules like noon shift per project demand.
· Provide Basis technical support to ABAP developers, functional team, DBA, Help desk support personnel, and other support groups to resolve system issues.
· Contribute to knowledge community and integrate new SAP technology into the team skillset. Good presentation skills and facilitation skills.
· Participate in develop, maintain, and document standard operating procedures, including backup and recovery of the SAP system, system error detection procedures, database reorganization, and SAP background job scheduling.
· Evaluate enterprise-wide SAP application systems and develop detailed analysis reports and recommendations for business critical systems.
· Fulfill other duties per manager assignment.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or higher level degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline with project management and technical experience.
· Being a strong team player with CAN-DO spirit, customer oriented attitude, good time management skill, multi-tasking skills, and able to cope with stress.
· Experience must include a minimum of 2 years SAP Basis Technical experience. Extended working experience at support frontiers in multi-national companies is preferred.
· Basis support experience on SAP ECC 6.0+ compulsory.
· Good-to-have technical Hands on knowledge of BI 7.0+, CRM 7.0, BIA, SM7.0, PI7.3, EP7.0.
· Able to communicate in English fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing in order to provide clear, concise communication to Management, Basis team members, and others. |
