/usr/pgsql-9.2/bin/postgres: error while loading shared libraries: libxml2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
no data was returned by command ""/usr/pgsql-9.2/bin/postgres" -V"
The program "postgres" is needed by initdb but was not found in the
same directory as "/usr/pgsql-9.2/bin/initdb".
Check your installation.

ldd postgres
ldd initdb

看来是哪个缺少 libxml2 库
搜索一下本地是否有这个库，有的话 通过 LD_LIBRARY_PATH 包含进去；没有的话下载一个装上
