Hi All,
       We are hiring two senior SQA position for Release Operations team, One is for Hardware certification, one is for software integration qualification,  the location is prefer in Beijing, but if you are a good candidate,  Chengdu is also good for us,  please feel free to contact us.

Hardware certification- Princ. SQA Engineer
Major Responsibilities:
•        Qualified candidate must have expertise in the following areas: configuring hardware (system and SAN), installing and configuring UNIX, linux OS and Symantec  software. Executing software test, creating automation, review/contributing to test planning documentation.
•        Position will be responsible for performing hardware/software integration test on Symantec  Server and Storage Management products/suites/solution.
•         Developing and automating test cases to cover new features and regression areas.
•        Communicate and collaborate among cross-functional teams in a multinational environment
•        Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and challenging environment
•        Excellent debug and problem solving either individually or in a team
•        Participates in team discussion on continual improvement
•        Investigating new tech and applied it into product timely

Position Requirements and Education:
         
•        BSCS or equivalent experience.
•        Must have experience with Unix, linux system level testing,  Shell and PERL, or other high level programming languages required.
•        A fast learner and self-starter with intellectual horsepower
•        Takes ownership and deliver results as expected
•        Continually looking for ways to improve
•        Visible presentation skills
•        Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English and Chinese
•         The position requires at least 3-5  years of experience as a software test engineer, development engineer, technical support engineer, or system administrator.



Software Integration Testing- Princ. SQA Engineer

Responsibilities
•        Perform writing and executing test plans and test cases including manual and automation tests on data protection software products
•        Configuration of test environments with different computer hardware and operation systems, verification test results, documentation of tests results and reporting of status, troubleshooting issues
•        Automate the existing manual TCs on automation framework
•        Look into the incoming customer escalations and design test scenarios to fix the gaps
•        Deliver the test result in a timely manner and provide ideas to improve

Qualifications
•        M.S, B.S in Computer Science or related field.
•        5 years+  of work experience
•        Expertise in multiple Operation Systems, Linux/UNIX preferred..
•        Programming skill in script languages as Shell, Perl, are plus.
•        Knowledge of backup restore application and storage is plus.
•        Knowledge and work experience in one of following database application: Oracle, DB2, SQL, Exchange, is a best plus.
•        English Language skills are require, good English communication skill is a best plus.
•        Self-motivated, good team work and communication skill are necessary qualities


Critical Success Factors :
         Detailed understanding of Unix(Linux, Solaris), SAN components, Cluster Server, File System, Volume Manager, NBU, Oracle experience is desired. Experience with industry/commercial test applications a benefit
