提问---sysbench测试select.lua出现大量写IO [复制链接]

大家好,
请教一个问题。
为测试SSD性能,采取用sysbench测试PostgreSQL,在执行select.lua测试时,应该是一个纯读环境,但是测试一段时间会周期性的出现大量的写IO然后消失,循环往复,大概每20s会出现5s的写IO,读性能也被拉低,把logging_collector关掉也没有效果。另外发现pgbench测试select-only也会有200~300MB的写IO,昨天测试是没有的,是否是checkpoint或者background writer之类的后台进程在处理?是否有disable这些后台进程的办法?用systemtap调查过disk进程,写进程的确是postgres,但是不知道到底在写什么。

sysbench --test=./select.lua --pgsql-user=postgres --pgsql-password=abc123 --pgsql-port=5432 --pgsql-db=test --db-driver=pgsql --report-interval=2 --max-time=60 --oltp_tables_count=4 --num-threads=64  --oltp-table-size=100000000 --max-requests=0 run

另外发现今天sysbench测试中prepare的时候还不停的上报,前天并没有log,可是将checkpoint_timeout = 1h,也并没有改善

我现在怀疑是checkpoint后台进程在写入数据,有什么好的调优方法吗?或者disable?

如果是刚插完数据(sysbench prepare),马上就做读的测试,通常会看到有比较大的写,原因是PostgreSQL为了在读数据时优化可见性判断,你可以对表做一次全表扫描 explain analyze select * from sbtest1;执行checkpoint;命令,然后再测试,写应该就能消失了。可见性判断可以见我的blog: http://osdbablog。sinaapp。com/94.html
