linux 挂载点问题?
"/usr" is one of reserved directories of some GNU/Linux release. It is not recommended that you spare a /usr partition special for exchanging between Win and GNU/Linux. Otherwise, most of the applications of GNU/Linux will be installed to that partition by default. During a new installation, the partition labelled "/usr" will be prompted and recommended to be formated. (I think that would not be what you expected if there's some important documentations in this partition!)
As an alternation, you can create a new partition and specify a mounting point for it, such as /mp3, /win_exchange, or something like that. Or, you can mount this partition under /mnt directory, i.e., /mnt/mp3, /mnt/win_exchange... To mount it automatically, you must do some additional work to edit /etc/fstab file. You have the rights to leave them unchanged/unformatted during a new installation of GNU/Linux release.
You can find more about this issue in ChinaUnix's forum.
MOST IMPORTANT: The mounting point /usr is a reserved mounting point of GNU/Linux operating systems. |
