DPC-Senior Software Engineer-Java

Shanghai City, China

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

·         Working with product managers to help define feature requirements

·         Working with architect team to help high level and detailed design

·         Working full lifecycle of product development including design, implementation and testing

·         Working with architect to validate designs through walk-through, prototypes, and unit testing

·         Working with QA in designing and implementing integration and stress/performance tests

·         Mentoring team members with hands-on technical suggestions

Qualifications

·         MS/ME in Computer Science or equivalent

·         3+ years of development experience in software development organization

·         Both frontend UI and backend services development experience

·         Hands-on programming experience with Java/RESTful API development

·         Development experience on Linux platform with bash, ruby or other script language

·         Web frontend skills like Javascript, Ajax, AngularJS, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5

Desired skills

·         Deep understanding on the architecture of scalable, high availability system

·         Proven ability to learn new technologies and expand skill sets quickly

·         Knowledge on Linux Kernel is a plus

·         Knowledge in agile methodology and tools, such as XP and Scrum

·         Demonstrated ability to deliver work under pressure and tight schedules

·         Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail

MRS- Senior Software Engineer-C++

Experience and Education

·           3+(SSE) years experience of programming in C/C++

·           Demonstrated ability of system level Debugging and performance tuning

·           Strong Linux/Windows kernel programming skills and C/C++ multi-threads programming

·           Knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas: file systems, storage protocols (NFSv3, v4 and v41 pNFS, CIFS, iSCSI), storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, OSD, snapshot, replication), networking, device drivers, clustering

·           BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related field

·           Experience in communicating with remote site globally including tech discussion and presenting.

·           Good system level program skills in Linux/Windows environment

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Oversees workflow and call queues; assist   with open case management, escalations and SLO attainment
·  Ensure issues and recommendations with   regard to programs, tools, projects, products, process, metrics, standards   and customers are escalated in accordance with technical support policies and   procedures.
·  Handles operations duties including Exception   case handling Turnover.

·  Liaison with peers across product between   SSC, Field, CSTs CSMs.
