请问：如何能够确认本机的RPC service正常运行？如果不能正常运行，用什么命令可以将其正常启动？
版本为solaris 8

用我们公司的一个软件时出现这个错误。

I haven't written programs with RPC, therefor I am not sure my answer is correct.

to list rpc services -- run 'rpcinfo'

restart RPC -- I guess you can follow these steps:
1. login as root
2. get into /etc/rc2.d
3. S71rpc stop; S71rpc start

I am wondering if it works, especially on those system where Cluster or other softwares are running, it might cause your system panic.  

I think the best way is to reboot.
