· CS Core Engineer
Position Description:
Nokia is looking for an individual who can support CS-Core for our customers in China as assigned by Stream manager, Care Manager or Project Manager.
Circuit core Engineer is responsible for delivering the Circuit core Network related service activities assigned by Stream manager ,Care Manager or Project Manager . ensure the work quality fulfill Nokia standard by following SOPs and work instructions.
Main Responsibilities :
- Provide CS Core(MSCi/HLRi/MGW/SRRi) technical support services.
- Support in testing and integration of CS Core hardware and software, as well as the integration of various subsystems of the switching platform. This includes commissioning and integration of CS Core network elements to the BSS, PSTN and ancillary systems.
- Support in software activities including preparation of Datafil scripts.
- Help our customers, including solving of the customer's daily O&M queries, troubles, hardware and software problems and faults.
- Consultation to the customers about the Engineering of CS-Core planning, feature activations and other improvements to their network.
- Perform new software release upgradeupdates and change delivery installupdates into the customer Network Elements.
- Participation in end-to-end customer support by being in ECC virtual team.
- Participatione in upcoming Technologies. ( For example MSS-MGW Trials).
Requirements:
- B.S. in a related technical subject.
- 2-3 years of telecommunications implementation and technical support experience.
- Good written and oral communications skills in Chinese & English Excellent knowledge in English.
- Has Ggood knowledge about GSM &CSS73G isnetwork preferably
- Willingness to travel, tolerant and can work under pressure
· PS Core System Engineer
Position Description:
The ideal candidate should be able to collect data and analyze complex problems to arrive at the appropriate solution and an improved process. Strong decision making/problem analysis and solving abilities are essential, as well as the ability to identify opportunities for creative and innovative solutions. He/she formulates action plans, and involves others in the solutions; is a good teamworker; and possesses strong oral and written communication skills. The candidate is prepared to put in the effort to achieve the goal while managing competing priorities; focuses on quality output through accuracy, thoroughness and attention detail; and looks for ways to improve quality. The candidate needs to set up good relationship with customers and provide excellent services to customers.

- Support in testing and integration of PS Core hardware and software, as well as the integration of various subsystems of the platform. This includes commissioning and integration of PS Core network elements to the BSC, RNC, CS core, and ancillary systems.
- Support in software activities including preparation of Datafil scripts.
- Help our customers, including solving of the customer's daily O&M queries, troubles, hardware and software problems and faults.
- Consultation to the customers about the Engineering of PS-Core planning, feature activations and other improvements to their network.
- Perform new software release updates and change delivery updates to the customer Network Elements.
- Participation in end-to-end customer support by being in ECC virtual team.
- Participate in upcoming Technologies.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
- B.S. in a related technical subject.
- At least 2-3 years of professional working experiece in Telecommunication or Computer Network industry.
- Has good IP and Unix knowledge; knows basic IP configuration and troubleshooting
- The candidate should have good oral and written communication skills in English.
- The candidate needs be able to travel frequently.
- The candidate should be willing to learn new technologies and can learn fast.
- Has good knowledge about GPRS/3G network preferably
