怎么根据shell产生的core文件找错误

我还是第一次注意到shell也会产生core文件，找了半天都不知道怎么调试，哪位还能指点一下啊？
这个shell以前一直是正常运行的，不知道怎么会宕掉，想不明白。难道跟主机繁忙有关系？

It's difficult to analyse core dump file. It bases on how much knowledge you
understand  about system kernel.

Some debuggers used to do it:

gdb, ddd in Linux
adb, mdb, act  in Solaris

不好意思啊,不能直接贴出来.shell的作用是到远程主机上去取文件，写起来不是很难。
问题是用用dbx调试的时候，它说：
Type 'help' for help.
Core file program (sh) does not match current program (core ignored)
warning: cannot execute ftpfile.sh
reading symbolic information ...
既然是core文件，居然不能用dbx跟踪，真是奇怪。

请问lightspeed，你在其他主机上用过调试工具跟踪过shell的core文件吗？有什么建议。

Core dump analysis is not for end users. I don't think you can get
useful information from it without enough experience and skills.

Leave it alone.  If it happened again and again,  call vendor's support hotline.
