oracle 8.17中如何快速删除一个有很多extent的表

问题背景：由于表空间缺省存储参数配置的不很理想，每个extent的大小都为20K，pctincrease为0，导致某张表占用了10万个左右的extent，如果用命令truncate table table_name来删除里面的数据，命令返回时间估计要几十个小时，而且CPU资源消耗特别多。

请问：各位大侠有没有遇到过类似的问题？怎么处理既可以提高效率又对系统的资源消耗不是很大？

对上面的问题再补充一下：表空间管理是字典方式。

truncate table table_name just move the high water mark.  it's a short time operation.

options:
"exp compress=y" it,  drop the table and then import it
or
create a new table with the desired storage parameters and
insert into ... select * from old table. then rename the new table back to the original.
