is there anybody install ASE12.5 on windows XP successfully?

I have faced some problems:
I have installed ASE server,but failed to setup backup server.
and server config is hard to success to setup backup server!

if you have installed it please tell me!

但是安装完成后系统建立的sybase,sybase_bs,sybase_MS,SYBASE_XP中只有sybase和sybase_ms可以用，bs看似正常，包括run_bs.bat,注册表等都很正常，可就是用服务(service)起不来，提示出错。直接运行run_bs.bat文件,老是提示bcksrver用法不对,显示用法选项。
删除bs后重建，就建不起来了，serverconfig 在配置到bs最后一步后，确定后没有反应。

再有就是sybase的安装文档里特别说明该版本不支持winXP啊，你是怎么做到的，我安装的时候在选完选项后，就提示错误说有程序不能往下运行

interface文件的标准写法，肯定没错：
[backup_server_name]
master ....  ip,port
query......  ip,port

I made it !
after I download patch ebf10752(which will upgrade your 12.50 to 12.501) and overwrite sybase server directory.everthing is ok. I can use syconfig to config backup server correctly,everything is work as I expect.
but I have to inform one who want to do same thing:
I use res file to initiate server becuase syconfig always report error!
so I am not sure if I can initiate server via syconfig,you may try it.

In addition,if your pc is pentium4 cpu ,you should set environment vairable java_compiler=none to ensure java work correctly. after install,you should modify some bat file which refrence jdk1.1 to jdk1.2.2 which have in sybase12.5 install directory. be careful to do this then you can use sybase central java edition; if your font have problem,please check font.properties.nt4.0 file and modify it to font.properties.nt5.1 ;
that's all.
