在hp-ux上安装oracle的问题

我们公司的hp没有图形卡, 所以没有办法出oracle安装的图形界面, 请问如何解决。

Hi,
You don't need the video card to display GUI on HP-UX. The GUI in Unix is called X, almost all Unix (include HP-UX) has it.

If you are using telnet to connect to a HP server, then you just need:
1. Have Reflection or Exceed on your PC, if you are using PC.
2. export the DISPLAY from the HP server to your PC.

Note, if you are using Unix workstation, then the 1) is not needed.

Also, make sure the HP server has Java installed, since I believe the Oracle installation process uses Java.
