sftp bin asci 的转换问题

请问谁知道在sftp下怎么切换bin和asci的传输方式，我看了sftp的man，也到网上找了，没有看到这方面的介绍，请高人指点

guess you have to type the full spelling  
ascii  or binary

sftp 里面 没有ascii 这些指令的, 不 是打完整的问题,我刚才试过了.

maybe this is caused by different version?
my SFTP didn't recognize commads "ascii、binary“ too.
