"directory checksum error"错误处理急切求教

本人在hp-ux下用tar -xvf来解压一个包时系统总是提示“directory checksum error”错误而不能继续，请问是什么原因？怎么解决？ 火急！先谢谢高手了。

1、你的tar包文件是不是ftp下载的，如果是ftp下载的，请确保你的文件传输模式是bin(二进制传输）。
2、如果在原始文件和副本之间有几个字节差异，则将会出现问题
3、确保当前有足够的磁盘空间

如果是TAR包 可以试试看在windows下面用Winrar软件解压后上传 ：）
但如果TAR包有问题就不行了

我是在windows下用winrar软件打的tar包，但总是出错，请问在windows下如何制作tar压缩包文件？

刚刚在www.unix-center.net的Solaris测试服务器遇到这个问题。搜索进来的。
在另一个搜索里看到说：tar工具有两种……不一样的也出“directory checksum error”
所以试着用gtar
