Failed to start the PMD Connection thread

先是

LOGIN: ERROR- Failed to initialize policy manager. (IFOR_PM_FATAL)
  The status from the policy manager demon (PMD - /etc/ifor_pmd) indicates
  that a serious error condition has occurred.  Login is allowed, but the
  system administrator is strongly advised to consult the SCO online Support
  Solutions Library (SSL) for assistance; if the SSL is inaccessible,
  please contact your SCO Support representative.

查看资料后，得知是许可管理出了问题。说是ifor_pmd进程没有起动。
root注册，手工起动ifor_pmd后，就出现了标题中的错误提示。
也没资料可找了。
请帮帮忙。

在sco　5.0.5, 出现了有一个月左右。

首先要保证你的license是合法有效并且网内不重复的，否则任何解决办法都可能没有用

我的问题:

在平时操作时经常会在控制界面上出现如下内容:

对比另外一台机器发现根目录下缺少了一个pmd的连接目录,连往/var/opt/K/SCO/Unix/5.0.5Eb/pmd/pmd,一时不想找ln的命令格式,直接从正常的机器cpio打包了正确的连接放到这台机器上,然后reboot重启,就不能启动了.

由于机器在远程,看不到控制台界面,只看到重启后有一段时间能够ping通主机和telnet进去,但很快就失去通讯,再重启还是同样现象.

请教高手问题何在,怎么解决?
