高手们，大家好，我是oracle 新手，
哪位大哥能讲讲Oracle的身份验证过程吗？他是由哪一个服务器进程完成的呢？
我产生疑问的原因如下：
当Oracle的实例未启动时，用户首先必须以dba的帐号登陆系统，我很想知道sqlplus在实例未启动时连接到了哪一个服务器进程呢？

The auth. method is defferent according defferent connecting method.  The auth. method can be OS, Oracle Server, Name Server and others.
When you login into oracle and the database is not startuped, you must login into it using 'internal' (before 9i) or 'sys/** as sysdba'. When you login into Oracle as sysdba role, the user must in password files. That  is, the password file will auth.  you logining.

Thank for your response, Yes I really know the auth_way include OS as well as oracle, But I confused when the I log in the oracle whose instance is not startup till, what process do the SQL*Plus connect to? will The SQL*Plus auth. the user which included in the password file?

The sqlplus is only a application program and it cannot auth. the user who will login into oracle. You can find who is included in the password file in v$pwfile_users view.

Thanks ,I got it, SQL*Plus read the passwd file then auth. the user who intend to log in the oralce? am I right?
