Software Engineer, Embedded Software

Responsibilities:
Being part of a high-profile software team targeting global market
Develop embedded software for mobile data services
Participate in software integration on various mobile devices

Qualifications:
BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degrees
Thorough understanding of C/C++ programming language
2+ year industry experience required for BS candidate, real-world exposure required for MS candidate
Real-world experience and successful project of embedded software strongly recommended
Familiar with current software development practice and technology: OO, UML, XML, OS, Java
Experiences with software development lifecycle.
Communication skills in English are required
Strongly motivated, result-oriented, team player

Senior Software Engineer, Java Virtual Machine and J2ME

Lead J2ME product pre-sales and participate in writing specifications
Participate in software integration on various mobile devices

Qualifications:
BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degrees
Thorough understanding of Java programming language
Experience with Java Virtual Machine and J2ME technologies
2+ year industry experience required for BS candidate, real-world exposure required for MS candidate
Real-world experience and successful project of Java implementation strongly recommended
Familiar with software development practice and technology: C/C++, OO, UML, XML, OS, Java
Experiences with software development lifecycle.
Communication skills in English are required

Position: QA Engineer

Candidate will be a QA engineer testing advanced interactive communication applications for the mobile handset space.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Responsible to develop tests and maintain product quality
- Assist publications department as required to document test description and testing procedure
- Work with development engineer to develop test plans and isolate software faults
- Report status in a timely fashion as requested by manager or project lead engineer, or when problems arise

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
-------------------------------------------------------
- Minimum BS in Computer Science with 2 years of experience
- Formal training or hands on experience in object-oriented languages (C++/Java) required
- Embedded testing and debugging in C/C++/Java required
- Demonstrated understanding of the software testing process
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Ability to identify and prioritize problems
- Ability to generate clear and accurate technical documentation given a template and minimal instructions
- Ability to understand technical documentation and industry specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively to management and peers verbally, electronically (email) and through documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within QA and project teams that require a high-level of interaction between team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, communications, and learning skills
- Experience with J2ME configuration/profile QA testing a plus

Senior SW Engineer 1 – SW1 Department
Key Responsibilities:
TD-SCDMA/GSM dual mode RRC protocol development.
Integrate with other protocol modules and make the verification.
Planning of own tasks and report to the management.

Job Specification:
Should have 3G UE product experience. (e.g. experience in an commercial WCDMA mobile)
4 years above on 3G UE protocol developments, mainly focus on RRC.
Master Degree, majoring in telecommunication, computer science, or electronic engineering.
3G wireless protocol knowledge, embedded system development knowledge, and software engineering capability (requirement analysis, architecture, design)

Personal Attributes:
Good communication capability, well self-presented
Above 28 and less than 35/Male

Senior SW Engineer 2 – SW1 Department
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for TD-SCDMA/GSM dual mode physical layer control entity development.
Integrate with other protocol modules and make the verification.
Planning of own tasks and report to the management.


Job Specification:

Should have 3G UE product experience. (e.g. experience in an commercial WCDMA mobile)
4 years above on 3G UE protocol developments, mainly focus on physical layer control.
Master Degree, majoring in telecommunication, computer science, or electronic engineering.
