How to install EMM on Netbackup 6.0?

Hi,

For Netbackup 6.0, it has EMM server.
I want to have srv1 act as master and srv2 act as EMM and media server. Because more than 40 SAN media server and 100 client will add, I must have spearate EMM.
How do I configure?

My procedure as below:
1. Install srv2 and EMM with srv2, in server additioinal list, insert srv1
2. Install srv1 and EMM with srv2.

But in srv1 admin console->host properties->media server list, only srv1, not srv2. Anyone know how do I add srv2 as media server?

I solved it.

On srv2 admin console, host properties --> master --> srv2 --> servers, then click srv1, and press "make master".

run netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd -getemmserver to verify

It should show:
Type                 version           host name               EMM
Master                 6                  srv1                         srv2
Media                   6                  srv2                         srv2

run netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd -listhosts to verify

It should show:
server srv2
master srv1
media srv2

Then reboot both srv1, srv2.
Now, srv2's admin console become media server only, and srv1 admin console->host properties->media server, you will see srv1 and srv2 as media server.

But there should have some strange thing happen, I have log the case to veritas.

I don't know why veritas netbackup has not document to describe it.
