职位描述：
Position Title: System Administrator
Site/location: Shanghai
Job Description:
The qualified candidate will support the IT Infrastructure and day-to-day operations of the IT activities. They will assist in providing support for all end-users of the R&D environment. Work with other R&D and IS support groups to recommend and provide new methods and ideas for improving development environment. They will be responsible for the identification of the company’s IT requirements and the implementation of appropriate computer infrastructure systems and services that satisfy these requirements. This encompasses maintaining and enhancing infrastructure components such as the company network (LAN/WAN), site servers, operating systems (UNIX, Linux and Windows), IT security, disaster recovery, telecommunications systems and desktop support.

Requirements:
-A working knowledge of Windows, Linux and the Sun Solaris operating systems and experience monitoring network alerts utilizing the operating system tools.
-Working technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems.
-Must be able to recognize, understand and analyze system and network problems and resolve them.
-A working knowledge and experience in the area of local and wide area networking, communications, and related hardware and software. .
-Be familiar with Red Hat Linux and Sun Solaris system.
-Be familiar with services on Linux/Unix, such as NFS, NIS, etc.
-Understand and maintain the security and integrity of the User Systems, Compute Servers, File Servers and the network.
-English language skill in writing and speaking is a must.
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, strong organization and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities:
-Monitor and maintain network, systems and peripheral activity, perform equipment troubleshooting to resolution.
-Diagnose and escalate hardware and software problems.
-New equipment installations including client, compute and file servers
-Assist in management of all local backups.
-Help to define and support a UNIX desktop to provide Microsoft apps, printing, mail, etc.
-Provide a front line/help desk/service for users.
-Provide support for all end-users of the design environment including, computer systems, data storage, backup systems, support equipment, EDA tools and the development environment.
-Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases.
-Manage and support LAN functionality and work with relevant groups to ensure good WAN functionality.
-Administer telephone system and work with other groups to implement and maintain VoIP telephony.
-Maintain running list of and action items. Ensure that key personnel are aware of customer related problems.
-Work with Corporate IS to ensure the remote sites needs are being addressed.
-Work with IS personnel to solve network problems, Synchronicity server issues, LSF issues, mail, etc.
-Must be able to work on weekends if necessary to work around production.
-Must be able to take part in a 24 hour on-call rotation.
-Must be able to provide some support where necessary to other Micron sites.

Skills/Experience:
-UNIX skills (Solaris and Linux) 2 or more years preferred.
-Window NT (Client and Server) 2 or more years preferred.
-LAN/WAN Networking knowledge.
-Programming skills to include UNIX shell, Perl, C, sed & awk, HTML.
-Knowledge of EDA tools and environment needs.
-Strong communication skills.

Education:
-College degree of Computer Science or related engineering degree or equivalent experience/background.
