普通用户不能修改密码，报错：passwd: Authentication token manipulation error

在FC4上新建一个帐号，可以登录，但是不能修改密码：
[nust@fc4 ~]$ whoami
nust
[nust@fc4 ~]$ passwd
Changing password for user nust.
Changing password for nust
(current) UNIX password:
passwd: Authentication token manipulation error
这个问题怎么解决？

2. cat /etc/passwd | grep nust 与 cat /etc/shadow | grep nust 结果如何 ?

1.useradd nust
   然后passwd nust 设置密码
2.[root@fc4 etc]# cat /etc/passwd | grep nust
nust:500:500::/home/nust:/bin/bash
[root@fc4 etc]# cat /etc/shadow | grep nust
nust1$zfFrpP8t$I7RlA.fMG.KeDmcvXumi4.:13304:0:99999:7:::
[root@dbprdfc4 etc]#
