SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1)       Design, develop and Maintain web-centric applications (Portal tools, CMS and simple HTML)
2)       Prepare and maintain technical documentation that includes database structure, server and user access rights.
3)       Contributes to user functional requirements and translates them into technical design and development projects.
4)       Works with other internal departments to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
5)       Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new web technologies as they emerge.


QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
·         University degree in Computer Science or related field.
·         Mature, detail-oriented and enjoys interacting with end users.
·         Team player who enjoys working with others & can work independently with minimal supervision.
·         Strong Technical, Communication, analytical and problem solving skills
·         Understanding of SDLC
·         Knowledge of VCS (CVS or Subversion is preferred)
·         Good understanding of operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows, etc)
·         Strong development skills on one or more of Asp, Jsp, Php, Cgi, Python
·         Familiarity with LDAP, Web Server, Application Server and RDBMS
·         Knowledge in Cluster and Load balancing is a bonus
·         Expert in HTML, Javascript and CSS
·         Good communication skills in English - Oral, Written is a MUST
·         Experience in CMS (Preferred familiarity with MCMS 2002)
·         Project Management skills
