hp unix .
在sybase下用 dscp配置了远程服务器A 和服务器A的备份服务器A_back.

配置的方法都一样.ip和端口也一样.
为什么数据服务A可以连同. A_back就不行呢?

$  isql -Usa -P -SA_back
CT-LIBRARY error:
      ct_connect(): user api layer: internal Client Library error: Read from the server has tim
ed out.
CT-LIBRARY error:
      ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Lib protocol driver c
all to connect two endpoints failed

又试了其他服务器.都是数据服务器可以连上.而备份服务器连不上.
请问是怎么回事?

started sucessfully成功是肯定的
我在其他pc上用Dsedit ping都是成功的.
在A_back上本地磁盘备份也是成功的.
我就奇怪了.同样的配置dscp方法.数据服务器怎么就正常的?

since you can not log on remote backupserver from local server with isql,you need to check whether the network service between two servers is available.
