Position: Project Manager (Shanghai)
Report to: Lead Project Manager
Key responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and document the requirements for software project transitions;
2. compliance with project management of the company best practice and processes;
3. Identify staffing needs for effective transition, including skill sets and training;
4. Negotiate and document development lifecycles and methods of working for each transition project;
5. Manage projects in a structured fashion, utilize an agreed project management methodology;
6. Establish and monitor key project qualify parameters with project stakeholders, this include schedules, service level agreements and problem escalation procedures;
7. Resolute resource contention issues with other transition project managers;
8. Manage and lead the project team to achieve project objectives;
Key skills required:
1. Good spoken and written English; (Must)
2. A degree or diploma in technology related discipline is preferred;
3. Above 5 years work experience in IT sector with at least 3 yrs in technical project management with team size of more than 15 projects team members;
4. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;
5. Knowledge of and/or experience with SEI CMM for software process improvement would be considered as a plus;
6. Experienced in software programming and some system architecture would be a distinct advantage.
Ability to travel extensively and coordinate remotely, to manage project proactively is the key requirement of this role.
