General Introduction of Project Q
It is our largest project team, which is an ongoing development project. The team has more than 30 people in total within Huatek, about 13 in Shanghai and 20 in Xian, and the Huatek team is an integrated part of the customer's internal development team.
The application we are developing is already in use, basically we work on a newer version every year or every half year, based on customer's requirement. We also handle defects/issues in the current product. The product is used in the health-care industry, its an application to transfer confidential patient and financial data to facilitate communication and transfer of data between different health-care providers, and communication with insurance companies to facilitate payment for medical services. It uses the HL7 standard for secure transfer of data, which is required by law in the US. The product has something like 40% market share in the US. |
