SCM – Build Management Engineer

Role description:

Build Management will consolidate all efforts of the software team to create the final product, which will be delivered to the testing team.

A Build Manager is responsible for

-He/she creates baselines in order to shield the developers from build problems.
-He/she follows up the submission of labels for the different projects and products.

He/she supports and enhances the build and build management infrastructure.
-He/she supports the developers in enhancing the build environment.
-He/she supports the tools in the build env. (e.g. compilers/clear case/simulation/DDTS)
-He/she supervises delivery dates and takes corrective actions if these are exceeded.
-He/she supports the customization environment.

Competencies:

1.Good Linux environment knowledge
2.Linux administrator skills
3.Experience with working on UNIX (Solaris) systems
4.Has a SW background/education
5.Very familiar with Makefiles
6.Proficient at shell scripting (sh, bash, zsh, …)
7.Knowledge of perl
8.Problem solving mind/skills
9.Good knowledge of Clearcase is a bonus
10.Experience with building compilers and cross compilers
11.Fluent in English
12.Strong quality aware mind: CMM and/or TL9000 aware

WEB Development

DESCRIPTION:
-  Design the embedded Web interface pages for our different product lines
-  Translate specific customer requirements in a tailored Web UI solution
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
-        Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related majors
-        Strong analytical skills
-        +3 years relevant experience in web development
-        Be creative and with sense of style
-        Have knowledge of end-user GUI experience
-        Team lead over a small project team is a plus
-        Fluent English in spoken and written
-        Experienced with multi-language GUI
PREFERABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
-        Software Background
Mandatory: Web development, HTML, DHTML, CGI, SSI, Java and JSP, ASP, PHP
Optional: Thorough C/C++ knowledge, OS knowledge: PSOS, VxWorks, Linux, WinCE
-        Telecom Background
Mandatory: Web Technologies, IP, OSGi, AJAX
Relevant experience in a subset of the followings: Ethernet (IEEE 802.1), SNMP, WLAN  802.1x, Authentication Radius, LDAP, UPnP, TR-69, H323, SIP, MGCP
-        Software tools: Knowledge of Windows, Linux, MAC and SUN OS’s, Ethereal, TCP dump, Rational ClearCase, CVS,  Bug reporting: Rational ClearDDTS, Bugzilla, knowledge of Windows, Linux, MAC and SUN OS’s
