Installing
On the CD-ROM, binaries for HP-UX are located in the directory /install/hp-ux/. Please read the README file for any important last-minute information.

To install SSH Secure Shell, perform the following tasks:


Copy the installation package to your machine.
Unpack the package with gunzip.
Install the package by issuing the following command with root privileges:
swinstall -s path_to/package ssh2

/path_to/package is the absolute path and name of the distribution file. The software will be installed in the /opt/ssh2 directory, and the manual pages will be installed in the /usr/man directory. Symbolic links for binaries will be created in the /usr/bin and /usr/sbin directories.

Start the Secure Shell daemon using the following command:
/sbin/init.d/sshd start
