1)嵌入式软件工程师或项目经理
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: (Job's primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)
SW designs, develops, and supports for consumer, RF and Telecom products
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TYPICAL FOR MOST POSITIONS: (Job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Include all important aspects of the job -- whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; and any that occur at irregular intervals.)
• Provide software technology support and service to hardware department.
• Take leadership to coach other team members, including junior level or internship.
• Release software image following the software release procedure.
• Create software specification.
• Learning new technology and realize it on new product design.
• Status reporting.
• Verify software issue from customer.
• Provide software module design and validation plan.
• Technical contact window for software supplier.
• Information sharing
QULIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES (Education, experience, soft skills, preferred):
• Proposal creation.
• Software specification definition and review.
• Familiar with software process.
• Familiar with software architecture.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: (Job's primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)
The Sr. hardware engineer (STB) will participate as a key member to design, implement and test set-top box product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TYPICAL FOR MOST POSITIONS: (Job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Include all important aspects of the job -- whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; and any that occur at irregular intervals.)
The Sr. hardware engineer (STB) will participate as a key member to design, implement and test set-top box product. The successful candidate will also work closely with other functional teams to support DFX, EMC, Hardware Engineering, Safety, Mechanical Industrial Design and Packaging.
She/He must work well under pressure and to deadlines.
The selected candidate will be required to:
• Define product descriptions and feature list, translating hardware requirements into hardware specification
• Design and implement STB (pre-production prototypes) compliant to product requirements specifications.
• Responsible for circuit design and analysis using schematic capture (OrCAD or Candence, etc.); guiding PCB layout; prototype verification using lab instruments.
• Design tests for implementation work (for middleware and applications on embedded real-time operating systems)
• Document all design and implementation and test results
• Interfacing with other teams.
QULIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES (Education, experience, soft skills, preferred):
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electronics & Communication & Electrical & Computer Science
• Must have a good understanding of STB related DVB/ATSC standards.
• At least 5 years experience of development or testing of STB or VOD server, fully experienced in circuit design (digital and analog), familiar with typical RISC processor (MIPS, PowerPC, ARM) and relevant debug tools.
• Good English both written and oral.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Problem solving abilities and attention for detail
Nice to Have: Knowledge in MPEG 4, H.264 and WMV-9, Experience in any of the major digital video platforms such as ST, Broadcom, Conexant, Motorola, Scientific Atlanta. |
