新加网卡看不到，如何知道网卡的名称？

求助如题：
sun v490上新加了网卡，如何知道新网卡的名字，现在用ifconfig看不到的。。。。。

现有的看了一下，好象有的没有，现在又网卡叫做hme0，用# more /etc/path_to_inst | grep network 看不到，为什么？

而不是使用# more /etc/path_to_inst | grep network

我现在在一个在用系统里面用more /etc/path_to_inst | grep network 没有看到hme，但是ifconfig是可以看到为什么？
