关于安装垃圾邮件过滤软件的问题

邮件系统是freebsd4.7+sendmail+popa3d。
用outlook来收发邮件。近来垃圾邮件太多了，所以准备安装一个垃圾邮件过滤软件，
我选择的是mailscanner软件

但是在安装的过程中始终提示这个错误：
# make install clean
===>  MailScanner-4.57.6_1 dependency requires newer Perl.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/mail/mailscanner.

但是我的perl卸载、安装好几遍了，已经是最新版本了，请问大家如何解决

perl -v看看是啥版本?
make pretty-print-run-depends-list pretty-print-build-depends-list看看它需要什么版本?
4.7也太旧了吧?

奇怪这两个命令显示的版本怎么不一样
