请教在solaris 8下面如何启动tftp服务？

将 /etc/inetd.conf 的tftp放开了，重启了机器，为什么还看不到tftp的进程？

记得好像本来就看不到进程的，你ftp一下就知道是否ok了。顺便看看/etc下的services里ftp在不在。

You need to understand how inetd works. inetd will only wake up in.tftpd when there is a request for tftp service.

二楼说得没错，你只有ftp后，才会出现进程。

是tftp ，不是ftp

从交换机上tftp过来的时候，用ps －ef 能看到 in.tftpd -s /tftpboot 的进程存在，但就是不成功

哦，照这个做：
1. Become superuser and change to the root directory of the prospective network configuration server.
2. Turn on the in.tftpd daemon by creating the directory /tftpboot:
# mkdir /tftpboot
This command configures the machine as a TFTP, bootparams, and RARP server.
3. Create a symbolic link to the directory.
# ln -s /tftpboot/. /tftpboot/tftpboot

no need to reboot the host. after you modify /etc/inetd.conf, just "kill -1 PID_of_inted" will make "inetd" reload its configuration.

the server daemon configured in /etc/inetd.conf is always invoked when a request comes in, and then gone after the communication completes.
