auto.direct: is the NIS map for /etc/auto_direct (automount direct map file)
auto.direct.time: is the NIS timestamp for auto.direct map

auto.home: auto.home.time in /var/yp/Makefile sets the dependency:
Only update auto.direct map if the timestamp of /etc/auto_direct file is newer than auto.mount.time
