HP Compaq Proliant系列服务器安装手册
注意事项:
1、 SCO OPENSERVER 5.0.5不支持主频在1.0GHZ以上(包括1.0GHz)的CPU,
必须采用SCO OPENSERVER 5.0.6 操作系统。
2、 SCO OPENSERVER 5.0.6操作系统相关的补丁程序也需要安装。
一 安装前的准备
1 从SmartStart光盘上制作支持软盘,步骤如下:
◆ 将SmartStart光盘放入安装Windows系统的PC中,光盘自动运行。接受自述文件后,选择Create Support Software
◆ 选择Compaq SCO OpenServer 5.0 EFS Version 5.46,EFS的版本可能因SmartStart CD的版本不同而有所不同,本文中的版本是5.48,EFS = Extended Feature Supplement 。
◆ 按照屏幕提示制作出5张支持软盘,这5张盘的内容分别是:
Compaq EFS 5.44 Diskette 1
Compaq EFS 5.44 Diskette 2
Compaq EFS 5.44 Diskette 3
BTLD Diskette
Documentation Diskette
前3张软盘的内容是一些工具和设备驱动。
第4张软盘里是启动控制器的BTLD包。
第5张软盘里是安装SCO的一些参考文档,英文,DOS格式,包括本文内容。
2 通过SmartStart光盘配置磁盘容错
将服务器从SmartStart光盘启动,弹出操作界面后,请选择Run Array Configuration utility图标。然后进入制作Raid的界面,选择Create Array..建立raid,依据提示信息,(底层采用缺省参数,磁盘划分,依据用户应用需求)完成配置。
二 开始安装(以SCO OPENSERVER 5.0.5示例)
插入SCO UNIX OpenServer 5.0.5 光盘,启动服务器。
对于Hp Compaq Prolint系列服务器,
在Boot:提示下键入:
mem=1m-16m,16m-2048m/n 回车 (识别大容量内存,容量≥2GB)
在boot: 提示下键入:(不同型号的服务器驱动串不一样)
