Job Summary
Develops hardware and software for scalable high performance
elegantly-designed, leading-edge x64-based systems. Our systems
are optimized for the leading Operating Systems: Sun Solaris,
Linux and Microsoft Windows.
We are looking for an experienced, talented and creative test
engineer with 1-3 years working experience in system level
quality assurance. This individual is responsible for the test
development and execution on x86 platforms.
Job Description
A successful candidate will work closely with local/remote SQA engineers and TAC developing team in MPK. Primary responsibilities will include creating/modify test cases(tools) of current TAC framework, execution of test cases(tools).
Additional responsibilities span the entire development cycle, and include requirements analysis, test design, resource planning, issue tracking, and results reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Solid with C/C++, Unix/Linux tools, and scripting languages Perl, Unix Shell, Python
- Experience in test tool development and test tool execution
- Experience with open source community and projects
- Familiar with software development and test processes
- Strong UNIX system administration skills
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Broad understanding of operating systems, x86 system architecture, computer hardware
- Good communication skills in both Chinese & English
- Good team player, good work ethic
- Able to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Able and willing to participate the international business travel when necessary
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
PC architecture, BIOS, network and storage PCI cards
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Manufacturing test experience
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
BS with 1-3 years
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
BSCS, BSEE
FIELD OF STUDY:
Engineering
