Mouse doesn't work properly in SCO507 VMware(TOshiba 2410)

Sorry! I don't have chinese editor. Hope you all can understand.
I am using TOSHIBA Satellite 2410 and installed SCO507 in VMware. I had no idea why my mouse "die" after 1 or 2 minute in startx.
My setting for the mouse is : low resolution keyboard mouse
Can anyone please help me???
How to solve this problem?

I had tried to use High resolution keyboard mouse, unfortunately it still cannot work. Even I tried to use the USB mouse still don't work.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
The SCO which I am installed is download from website.

I think you should check your Video Configuration.
The setting sould be VMware Video...
if the setting is correct. enter ok or cancel.(someone had said that this step must executed before startx)
try to startx again.
