Senior Linux* Sofware Engineer

Description  
In this position, you will be building and delivering open source software and Linux* on Intel(r) architecture, initially focusing on driver enabling for OSVs and ISVs. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing and supporting Linux* driver development
- Working with worldwide Linux* OSVs and ISVs to ensure timely adoption of Intel's technologies and platforms
- Testing and validating of Linux* drivers and other related software on Intel(r) platforms
- Establishing collaborative working relationships with PRC and worldwide Linux* community  
     
Qualifications  
You should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with more than four years of experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong background in Linux* system and/or application software development
- Knowledge of open source development models
- Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills
- Verbal and written communication skills (both in Mandarin and English)  




Senior Solaris Kernel Developer

Description  
In this position, you will be working as a kernel developer for Open Solaris* on Intel's platform. You will be working on the design, implementation and debugging for kernel features as well as fixing kernel bugs for Open Solaris* that may cover areas including device drivers, power management, kernel performance tuning, virtualization support, and others.  
   
Qualifications  
You should possess a Master of Science degree with more than three years working experience as a developer or a Bachelor of Science degree major in Computer Science with more than five years experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong C programming skills and assembly language skills
- Experience with developing device drivers on a UNIX*-like OS
- Strong problem solving capability
- Good team work
- Good oral and written English skill
- Good understanding computer system architecture with Intel(r) architecture knowledge would be an added advantage
- Deep understanding on operation system with Solaris* and/or Linux* would be an added advantage
